We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Meridian Junior College for inviting us to speak at their 2018 MJC Careers Fest. We met with a group of promising young students who are working towards their ‘A’ levels and shared insights into the field of podiatry and explained some of the career prospects available to those in the field. We also provided the students with information on how to become a podiatrist, providing with a list of universities in the UK and Australia where they could pursue a degree in podiatry as well as elaborating on the admissions process.
Such engagements are important to us as we are firm believers in public education and developing the field of podiatry in Singapore. We are always actively encouraging more young people to join the profession, and gladly provide information and assistance to those who express an interest in the field.
For those who do take the challenge and enter the field, they can look forward to establishing their careers in their country of study or return to Singapore to find rewarding careers in both public and private practice.
