Outreach at Nanyang Polytechnic Careers & Higher Education Fair
Earlier this month, East Coast Podiatry was pleased to play a part in this year’s Careers and Higher Education Fair at Nanyang Polytechnic. Attended by thousands of students across the seven schools of the polytechnic, the event featured over 40 booths from higher education institutions and organisations.
Taking the opportunity to raise public awareness of podiatry as a clinical speciality and as a potential career for graduates, our podiatrists and staff spoke to students from the polytechnic, sharing with them insight and the prospects of studying podiatry.
Students from the life sciences and nursing courses were particularly interested, with many asking for additional information on universities offering the course. As a practice, we are always keen to work with schools as we believe that podiatry can only grow if more students join the profession.
