We are pleased to introduce our two podiatry undergrads, Lewis Nurney (left) and Chantelle Crossland (right) from the University of Huddersfield, who were here on a four-week internship.
Clinical tutor Sani Kamis and Head of Department Georgina Tay guide the students in their musculoskeletal assessment.
During their time here, the two interns had multiple opportunities to work with patients under the careful oversight of our Podiatrists.
Chantelle and Lewis were eager to get hands-on with clinical practice including general treatment, shockwave therapy, diagnostic ultrasound, advanced biomechanics assessments, orthotic design and diabetic wound management.
We didn’t forget about having fun! They also visited the Kranji War Memorial during our Singapore history tour and joined in the festivities during the quarterly work retreat held at scenic Sentosa.
