We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Tampines-Meridian Junior College for inviting us to speak at their inaugural Careers and Higher Education Fest in October 2019.
Speaking to a classroom of students, podiatrist Ryan Marshall shared about the prospects and challenges of studying to be and being a practising podiatrist.
Aside from educating the students on the daily duties of a podiatrist as well as elaborating on the possible career paths and opportunities available to those in the field, Ryan also shared about his own personal experiences that led him to choose podiatry as a career.
Aside from the personal anecdotes, the students were also provided with information on studying podiatry in the U.K. and Australia, including course fees, admissions criteria and the coursework that would be covered during the degree.
These events are integral to the practice’s twofold mission of educating the general public in Singapore about podiatry and encouraging young minds to consider podiatry as a future career.
