East Coast Podiatry would like to thank the National Junior College of Singapore (NJC) for inviting us to speak with students at their 2019 NJC Careers Fair.
The NJC Careers Fair is an annual event for the 2,000 students at NJC to obtain some exposure to the different career paths available to them after graduation. Attendees included the three branches of the Singapore Armed Forces, a number of banks and finance organisations, as well as various ministries ranging from Ministry of Home Affairs to the Ministry of Health.
Although most of the students we spoke with were in their final year of study at the school, there was a good mix of Year 5 and 4 students who dropped by our booth.
Aside from explaining to the students about podiatry and the role podiatrists perform in the general healthcare system, the students were also given information on the general outlines of the various podiatry courses available.
To help the students make informed decisions about their future paths, East Coast Podiatry also extended an invitation to the students and to their lecturers to visit our clinics for a first-hand experience with podiatry.
