After a serious sports injury, I was advised that surgery was likely my best option, along with what sounded like a long and difficult recovery. Before committing to that, I decided to get a second opinion from Mr Yasin Rashid.

From the first appointment, he carried out a detailed gait assessment and took the time to explain what he believed was contributing to my Achilles tendon problem. Rather than rushing towards surgery, he suggested a conservative approach using focused shockwave therapy (fESWT), a progressive strengthening programme, and guidance on modifying my activity while recovering.

The improvement wasn't overnight, but it was consistent. As the weeks went by, the pain became less noticeable, my confidence in the tendon returned, and I was gradually able to get back to training without the same limitations I'd been dealing with before.

I also appreciated that my progress was reviewed at each visit, with the rehabilitation plan adjusted when needed instead of following a one-size-fits-all approach. Mr Yasin was professional, easy to talk to, and always willing to answer questions without making me feel rushed.

Looking back, I'm really glad I sought another opinion before going ahead with surgery. I'm grateful for the care I received and very pleased with the outcome. I'd happily recommend Mr Yasin Rashid to anyone dealing with a persistent tendon or foot injury.

I went to East Coast Podiatry recently as I noticed a bump under my toe. The foot examination conducted by my podiatrist (Yashin) was very detailed and complete to pinpoint the root cause - which was a bunion I didn't know of. Also addressed other foot concerns like aching feet and dry heel (the cream is very effective). I had a few sessions of SIS and I can feel that my feet ache less at the end of the day. The treatment was comfortable and painless. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and the staff here are very friendly too.

Ummairah is very good, she will check my feeling when she do the shock wave therapy. I love the sensation feeling. when she put on ankle, the more sensation feeling , the more blood circulation, the higher the recovery rate for me . When the sensation feeling subsided, I let Ummairah know and she will search for the weaker / targeted area and the cycle come again . This way , the healing is faster for me

I was struggling with heel pain for years before deciding to book an appointment with Doctor Yasin. He took the time to assess my foot properly, explain what was causing the pain, and answer all my questions in a way that was easy to understand.

I went through shockwave therapy, started wearing insoles, and followed the exercises he recommended. Over the following weeks I noticed I could get through the day so much more comfortably, and those painful first steps in the morning eventually resolved.

Doctor Yasin was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping me recover. I'm really pleased with the outcome and wish I'd gone to see him sooner.

Yasin identified my knee pain and recommended a course of 10 sessions of shockwave treatments  I questioned why so many sessions are needed as the last time I was here for the same knee injury I only needed 5 and it healed completely   That’s why I am back here seeking treatment after several sessions of physio therapy and the pain is not resolved   He explained because my pain has been lingering for 9 months already and needed more sessions   Both Yasin and his assistant Ummariah are kind and professional and even offered extra magnetic treatments to speed up healing   Optimistic for a full recovery soon!

Great doctor! Dr Yasim is very helpful with my wart on my foot! It’s a lot of fun visiting  all the fun people at the clinic! They are not only helpful but also so fun!

Overall a pleasant experience at East Coast Podiatry (Kembangan branch). Dr Maria, Mr Yassin and Mr Andika who attended to my case were very pleasant and professional. Treatment was effective. Would 100% recommend friends and family to visit East Coast Podiatry!

It was a delightful experience in spite of my concern over the medical/ surgical intervention on the chronic fungal infection of my toenail. Mr Yasin the Podiatrist answered all my concerns, and was gentle with all procedures. Im exremely happy to have disovered East Coast Podiatry! Mr Yasin was detailed in his observation of my in grown toe nail before I made the decision for the minor extraction. My wound is healing nicely following the instructions given to take care of it by Mr Yasin and Mr Andi. The clinic receptionist, Ms Yani is also friendly and helpful.
