The Ministry of Health (Singapore) has issued new provisions under the HCSA, requiring all Allied Health Professionals to revise publicly accessible content. The Association of Podiatric Medicine (Singapore) was notified by the MOH of the provisions on the 10th of May 2023.

Miconazole Nitrate Cream

Usage Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying the cream. This will ensure that the cream can penetrate the skin properly.
  2. Squeeze a small amount of the cream onto your fingertip or cotton bud. You may need to use more or less depending on the size of the affected area.
  3. Gently rub the cream into the affected area until it is fully absorbed. Make sure to cover the entire area with a thin layer of cream.
  4. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream to prevent the spread of infection.
  • To apply once or twice daily for two to four weeks, depending on the severity of the infection.
  • Continue using the cream for the full course of treatment, even if your symptoms improve before the treatment is complete.
  • If your symptoms do not improve after using the cream for the recommended amount of time, or if they worsen, contact your podiatrist.
